What this mist does
A 100 ml emulsion mist built on Niacinamide with Anastatica hierochuntica extract, eight plant oils, Squalane, Ceramide NP, Bakuchiol and two peptides — closer to a sprayable serum than to a water mist.
The rose of Jericho
Anastatica Hierochuntica Extract sits at position fifteen. The plant is a desert species that curls into a dry brown ball when water runs out, holds that state for years, and unfurls again when it rains. It is sold as a curiosity for exactly that reason.
What survives desiccation in plants like this are protective sugars and polyols. This formula carries several — Trehalose, Betaine, Propanediol, Glycerin, and Hydroxyethyl Urea at fourteen, a urea derivative that is far less common than glycerin and holds water more like skin does.
Bakuchiol, at position 44
Bakuchiol is a meroterpene from Psoralea corylifolia, the ingredient most often reached for when a formula wants retinol-like results without retinol. It is unusual in a mist. It is also deep in the list, so treat it as a supporting note rather than the reason to buy.
The two peptides close the list: Copper Tripeptide-1 and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, at 54 and 55.
This is an emulsion, not a water spray
Hydrogenated Poly(C6-14 Olefin) is the second ingredient. That is an oil phase at the very top of a product you spray on your face — so this atomises as a fine milky mist and leaves a soft finish, not a wet one that evaporates and goes.
Eight oils in total: avocado, sunflower, moringa, jojoba, macadamia, olive, grape seed, plus Squalane. With Ceramide NP and Phytosphingosine behind them, the barrier side of this formula is doing more than the word "mist" suggests.
The botanical block at 33 to 42
Ten consecutive plant extracts sit in the middle of this list: neem leaf and neem flower, ivy gourd fruit, hollyhock flower, aloe flower, eggplant fruit, jojoba, coralline algae, turmeric root and holy basil leaf. That grouping is a recognisable Ayurvedic-inspired complex bought as a unit, not ten separate decisions.
Whether ten extracts at that depth do ten distinct things is a fair question. We list them because they are on the label; we are not going to claim a mechanism for each.
Fragrance, and one thing to weigh
There is no entry called "Fragrance" here — but Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil is at 23, with Limonene and Linalool declared right after it. Those two are listed because European rules require it: they are common contact allergens.
Cosmetic bergamot oil is normally the bergapten-free grade, which is why it is legal in a leave-on product. Still, this is a scented leave-on mist. If you react to citrus oils, this is the ingredient to know about before you spray it on your face.

- Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid
- Hyaluronic acid of reduced molecular weight. Used to pull in water and hold it.
Who it is for
Worth checking before you buy: The bakuchiol sits deep in the list — a supporting note rather than the reason to buy; shake it, it separates.
Labelled for all skin types. Richer than most mists, so good over makeup only if you like a dewy finish. Contains bergamot oil and declared fragrance allergens — not the choice for a reactive skin.
How to use it
- Shake well — it is an emulsion and it does separate.
- Hold it at arm length and spray evenly across the face.
- Press in with the palms rather than letting it dry off.
- Use as a toner step, or over the day to refresh.
