An 18 g solid sunscreen stick at SPF50+ PA++++, built on Uvinul A Plus, Tinosorb S and Ethylhexyl Triazone, carrying Artemisia Capillaris extract and Camellia Japonica seed oil in a wax-and-silicone base.

The named filters are explained below:
Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate — Uvinul A Plus — is a dedicated UVA filter, photostable on its own, which is why nothing here needs a stabiliser propping it up. Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine — Tinosorb S — covers UVB and UVA together and is one of the most photostable filters in use. Ethylhexyl Triazone is a high-efficiency UVB filter that needs very little to reach a high SPF.
The supplied list combines the filters explained above. Butyloctyl Salicylate appears alongside them as a solvent and filter booster rather than a filter in its own right.
Where the mugwort and camellia are
Artemisia Capillaris Extract is the mugwort of the name, and Camellia Japonica Seed Oil is the camellia — the same seed oil traditionally used on hair and skin in Korea and Japan. Both sit in the long botanical middle of the list, along with turmeric, three neem fractions, holy basil, moringa seed oil, jojoba, green tea leaf and seed oil, bamboo, centella, noni and mung bean.
That is a generous botanical tail for a stick, and none of it is where the sun protection comes from.

- Boron Nitride
- Plate-like mineral powder. Changes how it glides on — the other half of the matte, and the soft glide.
- Centella Asiatica Extract
- Extract of Centella asiatica, whole plant. Used to calm irritation; used to slow oxidation, in the formula and on skin.
- Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract
- Extract of green tea leaf. Used to slow oxidation, in the formula and on skin.
- Panthenol
- Provitamin B5. Used to calm irritation, and pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
- Hyaluronic Acid
- Glycosaminoglycan. A material skin already contains, so it reads as its own; used to pull in water and hold it.
- Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil
- Oil from moringa seed. Used to soften by filling the gaps between surface cells.
How the formula works together
A stick has to be solid, glide without dragging, and not melt in a bag. Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer and Synthetic Wax at positions one and two are the structure; Microcrystalline Wax firms it further. Dibutyl Adipate, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Isopropyl Palmitate and two silicones carry the filters and keep the glide light.
Silica and Boron Nitride mattify. There is barely any water in this — it appears at position 41 — so it behaves like a balm, not a lotion.

Who it is for
Labelled for face and body, and suited to oily skin or over makeup. A stick is easy to under-apply; use more passes than feel necessary.
How to use it
- Wind out only as much as you need — extended too far the stick can snap or pick up dust.
- Sweep over the face and any exposed body areas, going back and forth several times.
- Press in with fingertips to even it out.
- Reapply every two to three hours outdoors.
