How the formula works together
Three groups of ingredients are doing the work here. Humectants — Propanediol, Glycerin and Butylene Glycol among others — draw water into the surface. Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract works on the look of redness. Niacinamide works on the look of unevenness.
Humectants and calming ingredients cover each other. Skin that has lost water looks redder and more textured than it is, so putting water back is half of how a formula settles the look of a difficult day.
