Description
Every two hours, all summer. Two bottles.
Rice extract at 30%, declared, in second place — with four modern filters behind it.
Thin, dewy, no cast.
What this sunscreen does
A 50 ml chemical sunscreen at SPF50+ PA++++, sold as a double pack, built on four newer-generation UV filters with Rice Extract declared at 30%, Niacinamide and a set of six ferments.
The filters, named properly
This is why the product has the reputation it has. Four filters, none of them available in an American sunscreen:
Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (Uvinul A Plus) is a dedicated, photostable UVA filter. Ethylhexyl Triazone is a very efficient UVB filter. Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol (Tinosorb M) works partly by absorption and partly by scattering, and covers both ranges. Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone (Uvasorb HEB) is another high-efficiency UVB filter.
Four filters across both ranges, all photostable, and none of them needs a stabiliser propping it up. That is a well-built system, and it is the reason this wears light for the protection it gives.
Rice at 30%, and what the "probiotics" are
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract (30%) is position two — a declared figure, not a suggestion, and a large one. Rice Germ Extract follows further down.
The probiotics of the name are six ferments: Lactobacillus/Pumpkin Ferment Extract, Bacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Monascus/Rice Ferment, Lactobacillus/Rice Ferment, Aspergillus Ferment and Saccharomyces/Rice Ferment Filtrate. These are ferment filtrates, not live cultures — nothing in a sunscreen is alive. What fermentation does is break large molecules into smaller ones and generate new small ones along the way.
Key ingredients
| Ingredient | What it is, and what it is used for |
|---|---|
| Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract (30%) | Extract of rice. Declared at 30% and second on the list. |
| Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate | Organic UVA filter (Uvinul A Plus). Photostable without help. |
| Ethylhexyl Triazone | Organic UVB filter. High efficiency per unit used. |
| Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol | Broad-spectrum filter (Tinosorb M). Absorbs and scatters. |
| Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone | Organic UVB filter (Uvasorb HEB). Absorbs UV; filters UV. |
| Niacinamide | Vitamin B3. Studied for evening out the look of tone, for the look of pores, and for breakout-prone skin — which is why it turns up in so much of this catalogue. |
| Saccharomyces/Rice Ferment Filtrate | Filtrate of rice fermented with Saccharomyces. |
| Lactobacillus/Pumpkin Ferment Extract | Extract of pumpkin fermented with Lactobacillus. |
| Bacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract | Extract of soybean fermented with Bacillus. |
| Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract | Extract of green tea leaf. Used to slow oxidation, in the formula and on skin; used to calm irritation. |
| Panax Ginseng Root Extract | Extract of ginseng root. |
| Adenosine | Purine nucleoside. One of the few ingredients Korea approves a wrinkle-care claim for. |
How the formula works together
The filters sit in a light ester carrier — Dibutyl Adipate, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Caprylyl Methicone — with Polymethylsilsesquioxane for a soft dry finish. That combination is what makes a high-protection chemical sunscreen feel like an essence rather than a coat of paint, and it is also why it layers under makeup.
Niacinamide at position eight is a real skincare inclusion, not a trace. Around it sit the ferments, green tea, ginseng, kelp, sugarcane and coconut extracts. Tocopherol and Adenosine close the list.
Forty-two ingredients, no added fragrance on the list. Green tea leaf extract appears twice — that is how the label reads and we have not tidied it.
Who it is for
Labelled for all skin types. Korean SPF50+ PA++++ labelling; sold in the United States as an imported cosmetic rather than an FDA-monographed sunscreen. Apply generously either way.
How to use it
- As the last morning step, apply a generous, even layer to face and neck.
- A fingertip and a half for the face is the usual guide — sunscreen is the one step you should over-apply.
- Reapply through the day if you are outdoors.

FAQ
Will it leave a white cast?
No. The SPF comes from modern organic filters — there is no titanium dioxide or zinc oxide in the formula, so there is nothing to turn white on any skin tone.
How often should I reapply?
Every two hours in direct sun, like any sunscreen. That is what the second tube in this pack is for — one at home, one in your bag.
Can I wear it under makeup?
Yes — the manufacturer positions it as a makeup base as well: it absorbs without stickiness, pilling or eye irritation.
Is it suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin?
The manufacturer states the formula is clinically tested non-comedogenic and suitable for sensitive, acne-prone skin. The full ingredient list is published below so you can check it against your own triggers.
Can I use it while pregnant?
The brand lists no pregnancy restriction, but sunscreen filter preferences vary — the full INCI is published below to review with your doctor.
