What this liner does
A slim retractable pencil liner with a 2 mm tip and a waterproof formula, made in ten shades, for everything from a hairline tightline to a defined wing.
Why the tip width matters more than the formula
Most pencil liners are 3 to 4 mm across. At that width you cannot draw between lashes without dragging colour onto the lashline itself, and a fine line takes several passes. At 2 mm you get the line you intended on the first stroke — which is the real reason this is the pencil people recommend to beginners, ahead of any claim about the formula.
The built-in sharpener keeps it at 2 mm. A slim pencil that has gone blunt is just a thick pencil.
Waterproof, and what that costs
The formula is built to hold against sweat, sebum and tears, and it does. The trade-off is the same as with every waterproof liner: it does not come off with a splash of water at the end of the day. Use an oil cleanser or a bi-phase remover on it, and do not scrub the lashline.

How to use it
- Twist up a small amount — a millimetre at most. It does not retract, so wind it out sparingly.
- Tightline between the lashes first, then draw the outer line if you want one.
- Sharpen with the cap sharpener when the tip flattens.
- Remove with an oil cleanser or bi-phase remover.
