What this cleanser does
A 150 ml amino-acid cleanser carrying rice seed water and rice seed extract with Inositol, Niacinamide and Gluconolactone, and a cellulose-and-clay body that lets it double as a wash-off pack.
The surfactant system is the reason to buy it
Six cleansing agents, every one of them mild: Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate and Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate are amino-acid surfactants, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate and Lauryl Betaine are amphoterics, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate is a taurate and Sodium Sweetalmondamphoacetate an almond-derived amphoteric.
No sulfate, no soap, no potassium hydroxide. That combination cleans a congested face without the pH spike that makes an oily skin overproduce by evening.
Two products in one tube
Cellulose at position four, with Hydrated Silica and Kaolin behind it, is what gives this its second use. As a daily cleanser you lather it in water and it behaves like a foam. As a wash-off pack you apply it thick to a dry face, leave it one to two minutes, then massage while rinsing — and the cellulose fibre gathers against dry skin the way a peeling gel does.
Applying it to a wet face is the reason it sometimes does not seem to do anything. The fibre needs friction against skin, not water.

- Gluconolactone
- Polyhydroxy acid. Ties up trace metals so the formula keeps; pulls water into the surface and holds it there — a mild exfoliant that also holds water.
- Phytic Acid
- Inositol hexaphosphate from rice bran. Ties up trace metals so the formula keeps — a very mild acid.
- Ceramide NP
- Ceramide 3. A material skin already contains, so it reads as its own.
- Panthenol
- Provitamin B5. Used to calm irritation, and pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
How the formula works together
Three mechanisms, deliberately mild. The amino-acid surfactants lift oil. Cellulose, silica and kaolin work on the surface physically. Gluconolactone and Phytic Acid are the chemical end — both are the gentlest acids in their classes, and both are chelators as much as exfoliants.
What stops all that from stripping is the tail: Niacinamide, Panthenol, Beta-Glucan, three hyaluronates, Ceramide NP and Tocopherol. That is more leave-behind than most cleansers carry.

Who it is for
Labelled for all skin types, aimed at congestion and visible pores. Use the pack mode once or twice a week rather than daily.
How to use it
- As a daily cleanser: lather a small amount with water and massage over the face, then rinse.
- As a wash-off pack: apply a generous layer to a dry face, avoiding eyes and lips.
- Leave for one to two minutes, then wet the hands and massage while rinsing with lukewarm water.
