What this serum does
A 100 ml spray serum carrying Niacinamide with Tuber Magnatum (white truffle) extract, avocado oil and about twenty flower and herb extracts, formulated as a surfactant-free serum-and-oil mist for a dewy finish.
Surfactant-free is the actual claim
Most sprays that carry oil and water together use an emulsifier to keep them mixed. This one does not — the two layers separate in the bottle, and shaking recombines them for the few seconds it takes to spray. That means no surfactant sitting on your skin, and it also means the instruction to shake first is not optional.

- Sugar alcohol. Used to pull in water and hold it.
- Betaine
- Amino acid derivative from sugar beet. Used to pull in water and hold it.
- Sodium Hyaluronate
- Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. A material skin already contains, so it reads as its own; used to pull in water and hold it.
- Adenosine
- Purine nucleoside. One of the few ingredients Korea approves a wrinkle-care claim for.
- Bifida Ferment Lysate
- Lysate of Bifidobacterium culture.
- Leontopodium Alpinum Extract
- Extract of edelweiss.
- Tocopheryl Acetate
- Vitamin E ester. Used to slow oxidation, in the formula and on skin.
How the formula works together
The water layer is doing the heavy lifting on hydration: Sorbitol, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Betaine, Glycerin and Sodium Hyaluronate stacked one after another near the top of the list. That is five different humectants rather than one at a showy percentage.
The oil layer is avocado, sunflower and soybean oils with annatto seed oil, kept from going off by Tocopherol and Tocopheryl Acetate. Between them sit the truffle extract, the ferment lysate, and a long floral tail — edelweiss, water lily, lotus, lily, freesia, daisy, cowslip.
The supplied ingredient list includes Fragrance and four declared fragrance components: Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal and Limonene. Butylphenyl Methylpropional is prohibited in EU cosmetics. This supplied list has not been verified against the current shipped packaging; check the declaration if you avoid these fragrance ingredients.

How to use it
- Shake the bottle hard until the two layers combine.
- Hold about 20 cm from the face and spray two or three times, after cleansing or over makeup.
- Pat in lightly rather than wiping.
