What this sun cream does
A 50 ml hybrid sunscreen at SPF50 PA++++, pairing Titanium Dioxide with three newer-generation organic filters, and carrying Melaleuca Alternifolia extract and leaf oil with Niacinamide.
Hybrid, which is the useful middle
Mineral sunscreens sit on the surface and often leave a cast. Chemical ones absorb and disappear but can sting reactive skin. This one does both: Titanium Dioxide at position three, plus Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate for UVA, Ethylhexyl Triazone and Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone for UVB.
The two triazones are high-efficiency filters, meaning less material is needed to reach SPF50 — which is why a cream with mineral in it still spreads without dragging.
The tea tree, and the honest caveat
Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Extract is at position fifteen and Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil at twenty-six. Both are real, and the extract sits high enough to matter.
The oil is the part to weigh. Tea tree oil is an essential oil, and while it is the material the product is named for, essential oils are the most common source of contact reaction in skincare. If tea tree suits your skin this is a well-matched sunscreen for congested skin. If you have reacted to it before, the name is a warning rather than a selling point.

How the formula works together
The filters ride in Dibutyl Adipate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate and Coco-Caprylate/Caprate — light esters — with Caprylyl Methicone and Polymethylsilsesquioxane for the dry finish. Alumina and Triethoxycaprylylsilane are the coatings on the titanium dioxide, which is what stops a mineral filter clumping.
The skincare half is a long Ayurvedic-and-Korean botanical block: neem flower and leaf, ivy gourd, eggplant, turmeric, holy basil, coralline, purslane, heartleaf and Artemisia capillaris. Niacinamide at position ten is the one with the largest evidence base.
Fifty ingredients. Tea tree leaf oil is the fragrance material.
Who it is for
Labelled for all skin types, aimed at congested and blemish-prone skin. Contains tea tree essential oil.
How to use it
- As the final skincare step in the morning, apply an even layer.
- Use more than feels necessary — a high SPF applied thinly is a low SPF.
- Reapply through the day if you are outdoors.
