FATION Nosca9 Trouble Serum 30ml
For skin that is breaking out and red with it.
Sodium Heparin — a clinic-side ingredient — in a serum you can buy without a prescription.
Thin gel, cool on contact.
What this serum does
A 30 ml serum carrying Sodium Heparin, Panthenol, Allantoin and Korean mugwort with Ceramide 3, formulated for blemish-prone skin and the redness that comes with it.
The ingredient that makes this unusual
Sodium Heparin appears on Korean trouble-care lists in a way it does not elsewhere. Here it sits with Succinic Acid, apple fruit extract and centella — a short, deliberate set rather than a long botanical tail. The brand name Nosca9 refers to the complex; what is verifiable is the list.
Key ingredients
Ingredient · What it is, and what it is used for
- Sodium Heparin
- Sodium salt of heparin.
- Succinic Acid
- Dicarboxylic acid. Sets the pH; carries scent.
- Panthenol
- Provitamin B5. Used to calm irritation, and pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
- Allantoin
- Heterocyclic diureide. Used to calm irritation.
- Artemisia Princeps Leaf Extract
- Extract of Artemisia princeps leaf (Korean mugwort).
- Centella Asiatica Extract
- Extract of Centella asiatica, whole plant. Used to calm irritation; used to slow oxidation, in the formula and on skin; used to pull in water and hold it.
- Malus Domestica Fruit Extract
- Extract of apple fruit.
- Ceramide 3
- Ceramide NP. A material skin already contains, so it reads as its own.
- Sodium Hyaluronate
- Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. A material skin already contains, so it reads as its own; used to pull in water and hold it.
- Hydroxyethyl Urea
- Urea derivative. Pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
- Diethoxyethyl Succinate
- Succinate ester. Dissolves the rest so the formula stays one liquid.
- Tocopherol
- Vitamin E. Used to slow oxidation, in the formula and on skin.
How the formula works together
There is no oil phase to speak of — no butter, no plant oil, no ester blend. The texture comes from two acrylate copolymers and Xanthan Gum, which is the right choice for skin that is already producing more sebum than it wants.
What is left is a calming set (Panthenol, Allantoin, mugwort, centella), a water-holding set (Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Glycerin), and Ceramide 3 at the very end to give the surface something back. Breakout-prone skin is usually also compromised skin, and a formula that only degreases tends to make the second problem worse.
Who it is for
Labelled for blemish-prone and sensitive skin. Skin irritation test completed. No fragrance and no essential oil on the list.
How to use it
- After toner, take a small amount and spread over the whole face.
- Press a second layer onto areas that are actively broken out.
- Use morning and night; follow with a light moisturiser.
