What this set does
A three-piece set built around the Super Melting Sebum Softener — a liquid carrying Papain with willow bark, reishi and burdock root extracts — plus the Deep Clean Master cleanser and 40 cotton pads, formulated to loosen hardened sebum before cleansing.
An enzyme instead of an acid
Papain sits mid-list. It is a proteolytic enzyme from papaya, and it works on protein bonds rather than by lowering pH the way an AHA does. That makes it a slower, gentler route to the same end, and it is the reason this softener can be used on skin that finds salicylic acid too much.

How the formula works together
Two mechanisms, both slow. Papain works on protein; the fruit extracts — plum, apple, grape, camu camu, kakadu plum — carry mild fruit acids. Together they loosen what is sitting in a pore rather than forcing it out.
The rest of the list is a long herbal set: reishi, deodeok, burdock, chrysanthemum, mistletoe, star anise, hinoki, oregano, purslane, cassia bark, heartleaf. Each is listed as a conditioning agent. Squalane and Phytosterols are the only lipids, and Panthenol with Madecassoside carry the calming side.
Lavender oil is on the list as fragrance material.

How to use it
- Soak a pad with the softener and lay it over the nose or chin for five to ten minutes.
- Massage lightly, then wash off with the Deep Clean Master cleanser.
