What this pad does
A 70-count dual-textured toner pad carrying Lactic Acid and Betaine Salicylate with an AHA fruit complex, formulated to loosen surface build-up and work on the look of pores.
An AHA and a BHA, working on different things
Lactic Acid sits fourth — an alpha hydroxy acid, water-soluble, acting on the surface. Betaine Salicylate is the beta hydroxy, oil-soluble, which is what lets it reach into sebum. Around them is the fruit complex the brand refers to: lime, grape, orange, apple and lemon extracts, all sources of fruit acids. Two mechanisms, one pad.

- Extract of hinoki cypress leaf.
- Sodium Hyaluronate
- Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. A material skin already contains, so it reads as its own; used to pull in water and hold it.
- Pueraria Lobata Root Extract
- Extract of kudzu root.
- Tocopherol
- Vitamin E. Used to slow oxidation, in the formula and on skin.
How the formula works together
The acids do the work and the botanical half is there to keep the result tolerable — purslane, centella, skullcap, hinoki cypress and kudzu all sit on the list as conditioning agents. Panthenol and Allantoin carry the calming side, and Sodium Hyaluronate the water.
Be clear about what else is here. Alcohol Denat. sits fifth, and there are ten essential oils on the list — orange, lemon, grapefruit, bergamot, rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus among them. That is a lot of fragrance material for an exfoliating product, and it is why the brand also sells a mild version.
Who it is for
Worth checking before you buy: This is the stronger of the two Zero Pore pads — the Mild exists for sensitive or compromised weeks, and the ten citrus oils here can sting on fresh breakouts.
Labelled for oily and congestion-prone skin. Contains acids, denatured alcohol and essential oils. If your skin is reactive, the Mild version of this pad is the one to look at.
How to use it
- After cleansing, wipe the embossed side over the face, avoiding the eye area.
- Use the smooth side to press in what remains.
- Start two or three times a week, not daily, and always wear sunscreen the next morning.
