What this mask does
A 24 ml sheet mask, ten to a box, carrying Madecassoside with Niacinamide, centella extract, four hyaluronates and Ceramide NP, formulated for skin that is red and marked at the same time.
Liposomes, and what they change
Hydrogenated Lecithin appears mid-list. That is the material that forms liposomes — lipid spheres that carry water-soluble actives through the surface film more readily than a plain solution does. It is the difference between an essence that sits and one that sinks, and it is why the mask is described as fast-absorbing.

- Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. A material skin already contains, so it reads as its own; used to pull in water and hold it.
- Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer
- Cross-linked hyaluronate. The cross-linking stops it washing away as fast as the plain form, so it keeps working on the surface for longer.
- Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans
- Hydrolysed glycosaminoglycan fraction. Pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
- Panthenol
- Provitamin B5. Used to calm irritation, and pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
- Trehalose
- Sugar that holds on to water. Plants use it to survive drying out.
- Seawater
- Sea water.

How the formula works together
Madecassoside and centella extract carry the calming half; Niacinamide the tone half; four hyaluronates with Trehalose and seawater the water. Ceramide NP at the end of the list is what stays behind once the sheet is off.
Four essential oils sit through the middle of the list — cedarwood, patchouli, mugwort and rosemary. On a sheet mask pressed against the whole face for fifteen minutes, that is a longer contact time than a serum gets, and worth knowing if fragrance is a problem for you.

How to use it
- After cleansing and toning, lay the sheet over the face.
- Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes; remove before it dries.
- Pat in the essence that remains and follow with a moisturiser.
