How the formula works together
Three groups of ingredients are doing the work here. Humectants — Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin and Butylene Glycol among others — draw water into the surface. Calming ingredients — Panthenol, Allantoin and Beta-Glucan — work on the look of redness. Emollients and lipids — Ceramide NP and Hydrogenated Lecithin — sit on top and slow how fast that water leaves.
Humectants and emollients and lipids are the pairing that matters here: water pulled in by one, held there by the other. That is the difference between skin that feels comfortable an hour after application and skin that feels comfortable at bedtime.
How to use it
- After cleansing and toning, apply 1 to 2 pumps to face and neck.
- Pat until absorbed.
- Use morning and evening.
- Follow with moisturizer and apply SPF in the daytime.
- Suitable for combination, oily, and blemish-prone skin.
