Round Lab
Round Lab Birch Moisturizing Pad 80pc
Eighty pads, and a list short enough to read on the bus.
Twenty-four ingredients, most of them there to hold water — birch juice fourth.
Soft pad, watery essence.
What this pad does
An 80-count pad soaked in a birch-sap essence — Betula Platyphylla Japonica Juice sits fourth on the list — built around a stack of humectants with Panthenol and Allantoin, formulated to put water back into the surface and settle the look of a day that went badly.
A short list, on purpose
There are twenty-four ingredients here and no fragrance, no essential oil, no acid. What is left is birch sap, five materials that hold water, two that work on the look of irritation, and the minimum needed to keep the pad wet and stable. Short lists are easier to tolerate, which is the whole argument for a pad you might use twice a day.

- Allantoin
- Heterocyclic diureide. Used to calm irritation.
- Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate
- Licorice root derivative. Used to calm the look of redness.
- Ascorbic Acid
- Pure vitamin C. The most studied form and the least stable one — which is why the rest of a list like this is built to protect it.
How the formula works together
The humectant stack is the formula. Glycerin, the xylitol trio, three hyaluronates and Glyceryl Glucoside all do the same job at different rates and different depths of the surface. Birch sap sits among them as the water-based carrier the line is named for.
Panthenol and Allantoin are the second job. They work on how irritation looks rather than on how much water is present, which is the pairing you want when skin is both dry and reactive — the two usually arrive together.
Who it is for
Labelled for all skin types, and positioned for tired or irritated skin. No acids, no fragrance on the list.
How to use it
- After cleansing, sweep a pad over the face along the lines of the skin.
- Leave a pad on a dry or irritated patch for five to ten minutes when more is wanted.
- Follow with the rest of the routine without rinsing.
