What this cleansing oil does
A 200 ml first-cleanse oil, sold in two formulations — 01 Young Green Tea for oily skin and 02 White Rice for dry skin — built on plant oils to dissolve sunscreen, makeup and the day's sebum before your water cleanser.
Which one to buy
01 Young Green Tea Fresh Pure uses Jeju young green tea extract in a thin, watery oil. The brand positions it for oily and congested skin: light slip, quick emulsification, a fresh finish rather than a cushioned one.
02 White Rice Bright is the richer of the two, aimed at dry and dull skin. Rice-derived materials give it more slip and a softer after-feel.
Both are 200 ml, which is a large bottle for a cleansing oil — it lasts most people three to four months at nightly use.
How the two-step method works
An oil cleanser is not a replacement for a water cleanser — it is the step before it. Oil dissolves what water cannot: sunscreen filters, silicones, long-wear makeup, oxidised sebum sitting in pores. Emulsifying it with water turns the whole lot milky so it rinses instead of smearing. The water cleanser afterwards takes off what the oil left behind.
Skipping the second step is the single most common reason people decide oil cleansers break them out.
About the ingredient list
We publish full ingredient declarations wherever we have them, and for this one we do not. Our supplier did not provide the INCI list for either type, and we will not reconstruct a list from marketing copy and present it as a label. How to use it
- On dry hands and a dry face, work two or three pumps over the skin for about a minute.
- Add a little lukewarm water and keep massaging until it turns milky.
- Rinse thoroughly, then follow with a water-based cleanser.
