What this sunscreen does
A 50 ml SPF 50+ PA++++ milk built on five organic UV filters plus zinc oxide, with Niacinamide at position nine, tea tree leaf water, hinoki cypress water and three centella triterpenes.

The FDA's approved sunscreen list has barely changed since 1999. Korea, the EU and Japan approved a further generation of filters that are more photostable and cover long UVA better. That is not marketing — it is a regulatory difference, and it is why a sunscreen like this exists.
What that combination gets you
Five of the six work by absorbing UV; zinc oxide at position forty is a small addition rather than the backbone. So this is an organic sunscreen, not a mineral one, and it will not leave a white cast.
There is no avobenzone — the UVA filter most Western sunscreens rely on, and the one that degrades in sunlight and needs propping up by other ingredients. The three UVA-active filters here are all photostable on their own, which is the practical difference you feel at hour four of a day out.
Butyloctyl Salicylate at position two is not a filter itself. It is a solvent — several of these filters are solids at room temperature, and something has to dissolve them evenly or the SPF is not evenly distributed. Placing it that high is what makes the texture a milk rather than a paste.

How the formula works together
Behind the filters sits a real skincare formula, which is not always true of sunscreen. Niacinamide at nine is above every emulsifier. Centella extract at seventeen with Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid and Asiatic Acid at 44 to 47. Adenosine, Tocopherol, Glycolipids and Ceramide NP fill in behind.
Positions 18 to 22 are a five-plant block — fig fruit, evening primrose flower, elm root, longleaf pine and kudzu root. The same four-plant core appears in several Korean formulas from other brands; it is a licensed complex rather than five separate decisions.
Caprylyl Methicone and Polymethylsilsesquioxane at 13 and 15 are what stop a high-filter formula feeling greasy — the silsesquioxane is a spherical powder that gives a soft, dry set-down.
Fifty-two ingredients, no fragrance and no essential oil on the list. On a product you reapply to your whole face daily, that absence is worth crediting.
Who it is for
Labelled for all skin types, face and body. Fragrance-free and non-whitening, with centella and niacinamide behind the filters — a reasonable daily sunscreen for most skin, including blemish-prone. Contains no avobenzone, no octinoxate and no oxybenzone.
One honest note: SPF 50+ only means anything at the amount used to test it, which is far more than most people apply. Two fingers' length for the face, and again every two hours outdoors.
How to use it
- As the last step of your morning routine, apply generously — roughly two fingers' length for face and neck.
- Let it set for a few minutes before makeup.
- Reapply every two hours in direct sun, and after swimming or towelling.
- A thin layer is not SPF 50. Applying less is the single most common reason sunscreen underperforms.
