How the formula works together
Two groups of ingredients are doing the work here. Humectants — Glycerin, Butylene Glycol and Propanediol among others — draw water into the surface. Centella Asiatica Extract works on the look of redness.
Humectants and calming ingredients cover each other. Skin that has lost water looks redder and more textured than it is, so putting water back is half of how a formula settles the look of a difficult day.
