What this pad does
A 90-count pad carrying five forms of hyaluronic acid with Ceramide NP, willow bark and tea tree extracts, plus a small amount of Gluconolactone, formulated for cooling and spot hydration.
A gentle exfoliant, quietly included
Gluconolactone sits mid-list — a polyhydroxy acid, larger and slower than glycolic or lactic, and a humectant in its own right. With Salix Alba (willow bark) beside it, this pad does a little surface work while it hydrates. Not enough to call it an exfoliating pad; enough to explain why skin feels smoother than a plain toner pad would leave it.

- Sodium Hyaluronate
- Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. A material skin already contains, so it reads as its own; used to pull in water and hold it.
- Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer
- Cross-linked hyaluronate. The cross-linking stops it washing away as fast as the plain form, so it keeps working on the surface for longer.
- Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid
- Hyaluronic acid of reduced molecular weight. Used to pull in water and hold it.
- Ceramide NP
- Ceramide 3. A material skin already contains, so it reads as its own.
- Gluconolactone
- Polyhydroxy acid. Ties up trace metals so the formula keeps; pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
- Salix Alba Bark Extract
- Extract of white willow bark.
- Melaleuca Alternifolia Extract
- Extract of tea tree.
- Aloe Ferox Leaf Extract
- Extract of Cape aloe leaf.
- Hamamelis Virginiana Water
- Distillate of witch hazel.
- Gamma-Polyglutamic Acid
- Fermentation-derived polypeptide. Pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
- Sodium Carboxymethyl Beta-Glucan
- Modified beta-glucan. Pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
- Panthenol
- Provitamin B5. Used to calm irritation, and pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
How the formula works together
Five hyaluronates plus Gamma-Polyglutamic Acid, Beta-Glucan and Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans make a wide humectant net; Ceramide NP is the single barrier lipid that stops it all evaporating.
Willow bark, tea tree and Gluconolactone form the mild clarifying side, while Panthenol, Allantoin, aloe, hollyhock, skullcap and peony root work on the look of irritation. Caffeine and Malachite Extract close it out.
Fifty ingredients, no fragrance and no essential oil on the list — which is what makes it usable on a face that has just come in from the sun.
Who it is for
Labelled for all skin types. Contains a mild PHA; fine for daily use on most skin, but not a pad to combine with a strong acid on the same night.
How to use it
- After cleansing, wipe over the face along the lines of the skin.
- Leave a pad on a hot or dry patch for five minutes when needed.
- Follow with serum and cream; no rinsing.
