What this shampoo does
A 500 ml shampoo built on sulfate surfactants with hydrolysed proteins, a free amino-acid blend and five plant oils, formulated for damaged hair at a mildly acidic pH.
Sulfates, and why they are here
Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate sit second and third. That is a strong cleansing system — it lathers hard and strips well, which is what a scalp with product build-up actually needs and what fine, oily hair often does better with. If you have been avoiding sulfates on principle, this is not the bottle. If you have been wondering why your low-poo leaves hair limp, it might be.

- Oil from camellia seed. Softens by filling the gaps between surface cells.
- Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil
- Oil from argan kernel. Softens by filling the gaps between surface cells.
- Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil
- Oil from macadamia seed. Softens by filling the gaps between surface cells.
- Mentha Piperita Leaf Extract
- Extract of peppermint leaf.
How the formula works together
Cleansing first, repair second. The sulfates and Cocamidopropyl Betaine strip; Polyquaternium-10 and Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride deposit back onto the hair shaft as the rinse water dilutes them. That deposition is what carries the proteins and amino acids into damaged sections of cuticle.
The protein set includes keratin, silk, collagen, milk, plus corn, soy and wheat proteins; the free amino-acid blend at the end of the list contains smaller fragments of the same idea. Five plant oils sit between them for slip.
Fragrance is declared sixth, with Limonene, Citronellol, Geraniol and Hexyl Cinnamal named. This is a scented shampoo.
Who it is for
Worth checking before you buy: The surfactants are sulfates — chosen for build-up removal; if you keep a sulfate-free routine, this is not that.
Labelled for damaged, coloured or heat-treated hair. Contains sulfates and fragrance.
How to use it
- Wet hair thoroughly and work the shampoo into the scalp, not the lengths.
- Rinse and repeat if hair is heavily coated with product.
