What this mask does
A 27 ml sheet mask, ten to a box, carrying eight forms of hyaluronic acid with Trehalose, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate and a light oil phase, formulated to flood the surface with water and then seal a little of it in.
Not simply the ampoule on a sheet
The mask and the ampoule share the hyaluronate stack but diverge after it. This one carries Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil and sunflower seed oil, and finishes with bergamot, lavender, juniper, palmarosa and citronella oils — a scent the ampoule does not have. Worth knowing if you chose the ampoule because it was unscented.

- Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid
- Hyaluronic acid of reduced molecular weight. Used to pull in water and hold it.
- Sodium Hyaluronate
- Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. A material skin already contains, so it reads as its own; used to pull in water and hold it.
- Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer
- Cross-linked hyaluronate. The cross-linking stops it washing away as fast as the plain form, so it keeps working on the surface for longer.
- Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate
- Hyaluronate given a positive charge so it sticks to skin instead of rinsing away.
- Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans
- Hydrolysed glycosaminoglycan fraction. Pulls water into the surface and holds it there.
- Trehalose
- Sugar that holds on to water. Plants use it to survive drying out.
- Glycereth-26
- Ethoxylated glycerin. Pulls water into the surface and holds it there; thins it out.
- Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate
- Licorice root derivative. Used to calm the look of redness.
- Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil
- Jojoba — a liquid wax rather than an oil, which is why it sits light. Softens the surface.
- Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract
- Extract of gardenia fruit. Gives it its colour.
- Glycine
- Amino acid. Sets the pH.
- Tocopherol
- Vitamin E. Used to slow oxidation, in the formula and on skin.
How the formula works together
A sheet mask has fifteen minutes of contact and then it is gone, so the design problem is what stays behind. Here the humectant stack does the flooding and the small oil phase — jojoba, sunflower, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride with lecithin — gives what is left something to hold onto.
The blue is Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract, listed as a colourant. The scent comes from five essential oils at the end of the list; there is no separate Fragrance entry, but essential oils are fragrance material all the same.

Labelled for all skin types, including sensitive, and vegan certified. Contains essential oils.
How to use it
- After cleansing and toning, unfold the sheet over the face.
- Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remove and pat in the essence that remains; follow with a moisturiser at night.
